Men of St. John’s
“Connecting, Growing, and Serving as Brothers in Christ”
The Men of St. John’s group is open to all men of the parish and the wider community who desire to connect, grow, and serve Christ together. Informal Meeting format typically involves fellowship, food, discussion, and a short devotional or teaching lesson. The group is also involved in parish and community service projects, including the annual DWTX Nails and Prayers Men’s Weekend at Camp Capers, the Texas Ramp Project and parish clean-up days.
We have two options for the women of St. John’s to grow in faith. Each group has a unique style and format:
Dessert & Discussion (meets one Wednesday a month)
Thursday Morning (meets Thursday mornings)
Early Morning Bible Study
On Thursday mornings all men and women of the parish are invited to join us at 7:30am to share breakfast, fellowship and Bible Study. Studies are chosen by the group and led by members.
Financial Peace University
FPC is an opportunity to learn Dave Ramsey’s system of getting your finances in order and bring “Financial Peace” to your life.
Family Faith Night
Small groups of families, moms, dads, and kids, gather in homes to share food, fellowship and study God’s word.
Small groups meet weekly at members’ homes for fellowship, to study the Bible and “do life” together.
