Back-to-school time means that the start of our fall classes is near. Join us for one, two, or all three classes!

Rally Day, September 10 -“Meet the Teacher”

Classes run Sunday, September  17 thru November 19

St. John’s 2.0

Location: Small Conference Room

Facilitator: Rev. Ripp Hardaway

This class will encourage each of us to create a rule of life that assists with transforming further into loving students and teachers who engage in prayer, obedience, worship, outreach, and nurture. We’ll talk about Transformative Discipleship, discovering what it means to be a disciple and to make other disciples.

Twelve Ordinary Men

Location: Large Conference Room

Facilitator: Susan Burnham

We’ll explore the life of the disciples and how we are just like them. Come and journey through Scripture and learn about the men who were closest to Jesus during His life. This class is based loosely on the book Twelve Ordinary Men by John MacArthur.

Demons & the Devil for Doubters & the Disenchanted

Location: Parish Hall

Facilitator: Paul Anthony

As we live in an increasingly technological and scientific world, how do we keep relevant the biblical notion of spiritual warfare without demonizing others? Can those of us who no longer believe in the existence of a literal Satan still find a way to treat sin and evil as real and powerful enemies? Join us as we wrestle with these questions while exploring Reviving Old Scratch: Demons and the Devil for Doubters and the Disenchanted, a book by theologian and psychologist Richard Beck.
